Hunters' fluffy shavings have a much greater absorbency than most competitor products. From the start, the original raw material is kiln dried to reduce moisture content. The shavings go directly from the planing lines to the dust extraction system at the baling plant where it is baled before moisture or other debris has a chance to get back into it.

Whereas many other products already contain a higher level of moisture this inhibits their ability to absorb much more. Hunter Woodshavings come out of the bag dry and fluffy ready to soak up whatever is thrown at them whilst providing a naturally soft and comfortable bed for as long as possible.

The clean, white flakes discolour when wet, making them easy to find and remove, minimising waste and saving you time. MEGA Spread Woodshavings have an exceptional spread volume due to the baling process. The shavings are vacuum packed under extreme compression, so when the bale is opened, the shavings spring back to give the bale its worthy name of MEGA Spread. Not only do the large flakes benefit the spread volume, MEGA Spread has large flakes for maximum stability, enabling the bed to stay supportive and in place, minimising the risk of hock and joint injuries in the stable.

The large, soft flakes take longer to break down underfoot, while the smaller flakes make their way to the bottom of the bed, creating maximum absorbency. This maintains a dryer top layer for greater comfort for your horse's hooves, and protection for the lungs against ammonia. BedSoft Bio is made from Oil Seed Rape Straw which provides a highly absorbent, low dust practical equine bedding. We designed this product to be extremely bio-degradable and easy to muck out. Once on the muckheap, BedSoft Bio breaks down rapidly, keeping muck heaps and disposal costs to a minimum!

BedSoft Bio is harvested in Essex and processed using a unique shredding and chopping machine.

Our product then goes through a state of the art dust extraction process before we apply an anti-bacterial, anti-viral and insect repellent treatment. 

Bedsoft uses a unique blend of oils including Eucalyptus citriodora which contains approximately 80% citronellal, an aldehyde that is strongly responsible for its aroma, antimicrobial properties and insect repellent capabilities. 

Not only is our bedding bio-secure, but the nature of the treatment highly discourages bed eating.

Snowflake Softchip Horse Bedding offers several major advantages over other bedding products.
Snowflake Softchip is dust extracted to minimise dust levels in the stable, essential to maintain peak health and fitness.
Softchip bedding is free draining, yet absorbent. This allows urine to drain away from the surface to be held in the lower layer of the bedding and so keeping your horse nice and dry. Any dropping can be easily lifted off the top of the bed with a fork.
